Ever after.

Zonii'Riilu's Point of View:
I am up early making breakfast for Rae. She has a harder time walking around now that she is a few months pregnant. She is constantly reminding me that I will be carrying the children for at least as long as she is. Which I always agree to, but I have a feeling she will hold them as much as I do. When I get into our room she is still asleep. I carefully set her tray down and walk over to kiss her awake. She mutters at me and smacks me in the face once. Not hard, but it does make a loud sound. 

Rae opens her eyes at the sound and looks at me curiously. "Good morning." She says drowsily. I smile at her and return the good morning before fetching her breakfast. Her eyes widen when she sees the tray and she smacks my arm after I set it down. "I will NOT eat all this, why did you make so much food?" She asks, surprise written all over her face. I grin at her and sit down on my side of the bed. "Because we will not be leaving bed today." I respond, smiling wider when her face softens and she makes a low aawwww noise.

After she eats for a bit I hold up an envelope. "Dera companion sent another letter." I say to her and she lights up. She insists I open it and read it to her. Dera has been away on her own adventure that she could only take certain pets and Kodryma with her. Every letter we receive either has a photo of a new chimera or a funny story in it. One of the photos we framed, it has Dera, Madi, and Lizzie in it all wearing matching shirts and making odd faces at the camera. When we saw it we both laughed, but we couldn't figure out why those three would wear shirts with Rs on them. After I read the letter I pull out what looks like a security camera photo of Dera and Suura climbing out of a very large fish tank. The next photo is of them in the same room but Dera has her tongue sticking out and a piece sign directed at the camera. The third and final picture is of a purple Gyupii with the name Yiska scrawled on the bottom of the picture.

Ririi'Raeito's Point of View:
I smile at the photos our companion sent us. She always includes the Kodryma at home, knowing that some of us were disappointed in not being able to go. I watch Riilu put the photos down on one of our tables. He will read it to the chimera later, but for now he turns back to me but scowls soon after. I know why he is scowling but I refuse to acknowledge it. "Must you eat those?" He asks me, concerned tone filtering though the major scowl on his face. "Yes!" I respond, exasperated. He sighs and looks at me seriously. "Rae, the liquid they make from those berries has a skull on the bottle, is it really safe?" I nod at him, explaining that I did my research and no baby had ever been harmed when the liquid was consumed. So by association the berries should be fine as well. "Tricka ate them and her and Ure's babies are perfectly normal." I tell him. He gives me a look like he is still worried but he lets it drop.

"Besides, the doctor checks me regularly. The babies are fine." I tell him, pulling the covers back to get out of bed. I take my berries with me downstairs. Despite his adorable gesture I want to walk around. I may not get many more chances to stretch my legs once the babies grow more. So I use this time to walk around. Feeding chimeras, picking up small things, and tidying a bit. Riilu watches me, fondness oozing out of him as he watches me 'nest' as he calls it. Whatever, I can clean if I want, it has nothing to do with the babies growing inside of me. I have trouble picking up a particular book up off the floor and Riilu comes over, asking if he can pick it up for me. I sigh in relief and nod at him, holding my hand out to take the book once he effortlessly bends over to pick it up.

I pout at him a bit, missing the ability to be able to bend over like that, or even see my toes for that matter. She smiles and kisses my forehead. "Soon Rae." He says and I take the book to the book shelf, taking a few seconds to put it in it's proper place before turning back. "Not soon enough, these babies are heavy. You are sooo carrying them everywhere." He chuckles at me and nods in a way that suggests that he knows that we both know that is a lie.
